Julie and Terry Goss, look forward to welcoming you to the Porthcurno Hotel and Restaurant and making your stay in this lovely part of Cornwall as pleasant as possible. Since they bought the Hotel towards the end of 1999, they have set out to create the kind of relaxed and comfortable environment, which would make people feel at home - and to create a home for themselves.
The Hotel offers 8 comfortable bedrooms, all en-suite. All have the usual facilities and are tastefully furnished having been refurbished recently with a blend of the modern and classic. Some rooms have sea views - please ask.
Our bright Restaurant with views of the sea and of our gardens is open to both residents and non residents. During high season we serve full English breakfast from 8.30 to 9.15 and dinner from 18.00 weekdays to enable customers to eat before performances begin at the Minack Theatre. Weekends and out of season we serve dinner from 19.00.
We pride ourselves on our menus and presentation and use local vegetables, meats and freshly caught local fish and shellfish wherever we can. Delicious Cornish cream teas featuring our own home baked scones are served in the gardens.
Situated within the Hotel grounds are two new, purpose built self catering holiday apartments. One is a double bedded unit sleeping two people while the other comprises two bedrooms sleeping four people. We also have a further penthouse apartment in the hotel itself.
The hotel is situated close to Shellsand Beach and the Minack Theatre.
