CHY-AN-CREET, a house with character and space, is an excellent B&B centre from which to tour beautiful western Cornwall. Originally a private residence (c.1925), it nestles in its own garden near to where the edge of town meets the moors to the west. St.Ives, an old and quaint fishing port with several narrow streets, was built long before the motor car, so one of Chy-an-Creet's prized assets is the ample free on-site car parking throughout your stay.

Within easy reach are many of Cornwall's most picturesque places including Truro Cathedral, Mousehole, Minack cliff top open-air theatre, Land's End and many places of outstanding natural beauty. Eden Project and NMMC are only about 45 minutes from here or you can walk to St. Ives' beaches or picturesque harbour in about 15 minutes. The comfortable private bar, with real fire for cooler weather, has a wide selection of beverages and soft drinks.
