Built for Henry VIII and grandly steeped in history, Hampton Court Palace is the place to hold unforgettable events. The selection of halls within this royal palace ensures there will be a right choice for your needs. The Great Hall, built for Henry VIII, has a stunning, soaring hammer-beam ceiling and great 16h century Flemish tapestries. There is also a minstrel's gallery for musicians. It holds 200 - 280 seated or 300 - 400 standing. Once upon a time, you had to be a baron, at least, to enter the Great Watching Chamber. Now mere mortals can enjoy the splendidly decorated hall, entered via the Haunted Gallery.
