Scandies is a cosy modern restaurant situated in a mews just off
Gloucester Road. Intimate and candlelit with only 11 tables, it is the
perfect place to go for a romantic evening out.
The menu changes seasonally and features modern British inventions like warm
salad of black pudding, poached egg and croutons; confit of salmon on a
courgette rösti and wilted spinach; marinated Welsh lamb kebab on provencal
cous sous followed by Chef Morgan's infamous creme brulee. The wine list is
pretty outstanding too.
