Gracing an estate of more than fifty acres in what was once the heart of Royal Windsor Forest in Surrey, Great Fosters is the most distinguished of hotels Ė a Grade One listed building blessed with the grandeur of 16th century England and luxurious modern facilities. Immaculately preserved, this stately historic monument also boasts a highly sought-after location, being near Heathrow airport, the M25 and M4, and also near Windsor, Wentworth and many of Londonís leading attractions.

Since it first opened its doors as a hotel in 1930, this magnificent residence has played host to royalty, film stars, emperors and literary icons. Today, welcoming guests for luxury short breaks, private dinners, meetings and celebrations, and acclaimed as a romantic wedding venue, Great Fosters remains one of Englandís most celebrated historic hotels.

The hotel offers two restaurants - The Estate Grill is a contemporary restaurant and a reflection of our commitment to providing locally sourced, simply cooked food whilst being surrounded by the best of British art. Many of the dishes are made using produce grown in our extensive kitchen garden and glasshouse an dfreshly picked each day.

First awarded a Michelin star in 2016 The Tudor Room at Great Fosters is an intimate sophisticated restaurant headed up by Douglas Balish. It is open for lunch on a Thursday & Friday and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday. It is a beautifully decorated room with the intimacy of only seven tables.. The Tudor Room is a more sophisticated dining experience with the intimacy of 24 covers. The hotel also has a number of terraces for al fresco dining with wonderful views across the estateís 50 acres of gardens and parkland. Great Fosters is also a wonderful setting for a wedding, christening or private celebration, and has excellent facilities for business meetings and functions.

Guests have full use of the hotelís leisure facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool (open from May to September), a hard tennis court and a croquet lawn. The extensive gardens alone inspire guests to visit from all corners of the world and have been listed as Ďof outstanding merití. Guests can also enjoy a round of golf at the famous Wentworth Golf Club, just a few miles from the hotel, racing at Ascot, pageantry at Windsor as well as many other nearby sporting and historical attractions.
