Camerons is the formal dining room at the Glasgow Hilton. Perhaps surprisingly in such a modern hotel, the restaurant is decorated in an exquisitely elegant Colonial style with gilted mirrors, china plates, chandeliers and a grand fireplace. Even more impressive is the food; aiming for a Michelin star, Camerons is the only restaurant in Glasgow to be awarded four Michelin forks. Other awards are too numerous to list and rest assured there are many, year after year. So good is James Murphy's international menu that high-profile guests regularly return for classics such as beef Wellington, lobster thermidor and superb foie gras. Service under the wonderful Frankma Cana Romero is friendly and always shows attention to detail. Extensive wine and champagne list.
