Rookery Manor is a beautiful, award-winning venue in the heart of the Somerset countryside. This 16th century manor has been converted to a four-star hotel by owner Ian Clapp, whose family has lived here for four generations.

As a wedding venue, the manor is licensed for civil ceremonies in the romantic Rose Room, magnificent Desborough and Iris Suites or even in the walled gardens, complete with island gazebo, lake and waterfall.

It is also the perfect place for stress-free conferences or corporate events set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, yet easily accessible from the M5 and other major road networks.

Our team of chefs can cater for any occasion from a wedding banquet for 400 guests to a networking lunch in the Rookery Bistro or an intimate dinner for two in the Rookery Brasserie.

Guests can also indulge in a day of pampering at Rookery Retreat & Spa, featuring a full range of luxury spa treatments plus an amazing hydrotherapy pool, relaxation areas, outdoor hot tub and wave loungers.

However you choose to spend your time at Rookery Manor, you can expect to leave with that feel-good factor and definitely expect to return!

The Rookery Bistro & Brasserie is set in the award-winning gardens of Rookery Manor. Diners can enjoy elegant surroundings and great food in the conservatory restaurant and lounge bar, situated in a converted 19th century barn. As well as catering for all kinds of occasions from business lunches to wedding breakfasts, it is the perfect place to socialise over coffee and cakes or afternoon tea.
