To stay at Hafod is to be welcomed to a very special experience; a small, distinctive hotel that offers the country house experience, without formality and pomp, in a home that is more a rambing farmhouse than a formal country house.

Situated in the Conwy Valley, at the foot of the Gwydyr Forest, we are literally on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Comfortably away from the bustle of Betws-y-Coed, Hafod is in an exceptionally quiet location, with the silence of the night mainly punctuated by the cries of different species of owl.

At the heart of staying in Hafod is our food. We aim to provide satisfying food, without pretention or fuss. Everything is entirely prepared on the premises, from the basic ingredients, with a real enthusiasm for the pleasure of genuine hospitality.

The hotel is small yet provides a lounge with an open fire in winter, an oak panelled bar and a dining room.

There is a private car park and some two and a half acres of grounds for residents to enjoy.
