The Old Rectory at Diptford is one of Devon’s finest Georgian houses, with breathtaking views across the Avon valley to Dartmoor. It provides the perfect setting for a relaxed break in the South Hams, surely the most beautiful and unspoilt countryside in the South West of England. Dartmouth, Salcombe and Kingsbridge are within easy reach and nearby is the Elizabethan town of Totnes.

But while Diptford enjoys complete tranquillity in an idyllic rural setting, it is only ten minutes by car to the A 38, making daily excursions to all parts of Devon and Cornwall easy to undertake.

We have lived in the Old Rectory for 15 years and have only recently opened our home to paying guests. We want you to enjoy the house and its lovely garden as much as we do. Everything will be done to help you enjoy your stay.
