Slightly seclude on a mezzanine floor above the buzzing bar in stylish Langs Hotel, Aurora is a hot pink destination for romance or just great food. The ambience is smart but relaxed, and everyone seems to enjoy themselves in the vividly coloured, smart modern and features dishes like seared Orkney scallops with lobster risotto and tomato vinaigrette, main course of rack of Speyside lamb with parsley crust, dauphinoise potatoes and glazed carrots, and dessert of apricot pudding with heather honey and whisky ice cream. The service is attentive and professional and the wine list very good indeed.
