B & B with a difference! Stay at a stately home within 20 minutes drive of Gatwick Airport for a civilised first or last night in England. The house is also a good central base for visiting south east England - London, Brighton and, closer to home, Hever Castle, Penshurst Place and beautiful gardens. It was built by Latrobe, of Washington White House fame, in 1792 and remains a family home. Visitors like it for its tranquility entirely isolated from traffic noise as well as it's grandeur - as well as not having to share it with dozens of other hotel guests.
