Pickford House is a Regency style house built on top of a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside. Although near to the main road it is very quiet and secluded with a stone walled garden which gives it complete privacy. There is ample parking for guests and also a large garden with flower beds and trees including a very old mulberry tree. In the summer months the swimming pool is in constant use.

Packed lunches: are also available upon request. Please enquire if required.
Car Parking: there is adequate secluded car parking off the road for guests.
Sport: Apart from the use of our swimming pool, tennis, squash and putting can be arranged. Riding can also be arranged - either at an indoor centre or at an outdoor trekking centre. Please ask for details.
Languages: French and German are spoken if necessary.
Babysitting : is available by arrangement as are Dogs.
Host family are able to meet you at the port of entry, airport or railway station.
Laundry can be done for a small charge.
During summer evenings we sometimes offer visitors dining with us a pre-dinner drive off-the-beaten-track to some interesting sights that you might otherwise miss.
