Mary Mount is a family run Hotel which offers a peaceful country house atmosphere. We are situated in 4.5 acres of woodland gardens, skirted by Lodore Beck on the shores of Derwentwater. There are walks from the hotel around the lake and to the nearby fells. We have twenty en-suite rooms situated in both the main building and in the Four Oaks bungalow. Ground floor rooms are available. All bedrooms are centrally heated, with colour t.v. tea and coffee making facilities. Mary Mount has a cosy oak panelled bar with an open fire for the winter months, we have a well stocked licensed bar and residents lounge. The dining room has large picture windows which give spectacular views of Derwentwater with 'Catbells' and the Lakeland Fells beyond.
