Remains of Roman and medieval East Gate to walled City can be seen in Eastgate Street, opposite Kings Walk. Rarely tours are held to see underground tour of further wall remains beneath Kings Walk. Also see original Roman wall within City Museum on Brunswick Road, and in furniture shop at junction of Southgate Street and Commercial Road.
