The railway and bus stations are on the far side of town, about 15 minutes' walk away (or a short taxi ride). The Hydro, Harrogate's superb swimming pool and fitness suite, is a five minute drive away and the lovely town of Knaresborough, with its castle perched high above the River Nidd, is a ten to fifteen minute drive.
