The Haven enjoys an ideal position in a small crescent of only nine properties, on the west cliff at Whitby overlooking the harbour entrance St Mary’s church & the ruins of St Hilda’s Abbey, only a short walk from the town centre railway and bus stations, the cliffs and beach are also nearby. Parking in Whitby is mostly unrestricted and free, the Haven is also within a few hundred metres of three pay and display car parks.

All eight rooms have en-suite showers, and are equipped with colour television hostess tray and hair dryer, ironing facilities are available upon request. Two of the rooms have king sized four poster beds, one of which has superb views at the front of the house, other king sized beds are available. Situated at the rear of the house are two single bedded rooms. All furniture and soft furnishings are well above average standard for the four stars rating the guest house has attained, providing that little extra comfort for today’s discerning guests, the owners aim is one of continued improvement, ensuring the Haven is always a pleasant place to stay.
