Phil & Geraldine Newton welcome all to Four Ponds Fishery, carp and coarse fishing at its Devon best. A mature fishery with fish of outstanding quality, colouration and size, set in 12 peaceful acres of glorious Devon countryside. There is an abundance of wildlife to be found including kingfishers, tree-creepers, owls, peregrines and sparrow-hawks to name but a few. Situated close to the lovely small towns of Bampton & Dulverton (gateway to Exmoor), with all the facilities anyone could wish for including convenience stores, post office, bank, butchers shop, pubs & restaurants.A short distance away is the wide expanse of Exmoor with its beautiful undisturbed tranquil moorland, not to mention a breathtakingly beautiful coastline of plunging cliffs and sheltered bays. Its landscape and seascape are dotted with towns, villages, harbours and resorts full of character and all wrapped up in a timeless charm. A warm welcome awaits you. The fishing lodge is a fully equipped, attractive & comfortable two bedroomed cottage in the beautiful Devon countryside. Central for the coast & moors, with its own drive for 2/3 cars. We look forward to meeting you. We were also one of only 3 finalists in the Exmoor Excellence Awards 2007.Please Note: Smoking allowed. Dogs are also welcome at an additional cost of £10 per dog per week. They are not to be allowed on any furniture. We also have a large field to let your dogs have a good run. Children welcome. Check-In time: 1300 and Check-Out time: 1000.
