One of the most celebrated historic houses in the country, this Tudor-Jacobean mansion has over forty restored rooms open to view. It is steeped in a rich history from its royal links to the lives of the ordinary people who lived and worked on the Estate.

Home Farm at Temple Newsam is a great opportunity to come face-to-face with hundreds of child friendly farm animals. There’s even an amazing playground for the kids to let off a little steam.

Explore the park and gardens of Temple Newsam to discover a stunning 18th century landscape and intimate formal gardens full of scent and colour.

A visit to Temple Newsam would not be complete without with a trip to our gift shop and a coffee in the Courtyard Tea Rooms.
