One of the most celebrated historic houses in the country, this Tudor-Jacobean mansion has over forty restored rooms open to view. It is steeped in a rich history from its royal links to the lives of the ordinary people who lived and worked on the Estate.
Home Farm at Temple Newsam is a great opportunity to come face-to-face with hundreds of child friendly farm animals. There’s even an amazing playground for the kids to let off a little steam.

Months Open: The House is shut on Mondays. The Farm and Tea Rooms are open on Mondays during summer time school holidays only.
Summer opening hours (Tuesday – Sunday) The House: 10.30 - 17:00, The Farm: 10:00 - 17:00, Tea Rooms: 10:00 - 16:30 (17.30 on Saturdays and Sundays).
Winter opening hours (Tuesday – Sunday) The House: 10.30 - 16:00, The Farm: 10:00 - 16:00, Tea Rooms: 10.30 - 16:00.
