Lilac Cottage is situated in the quiet Norfolk village of Northwold, which lies within easy reach of Downham Market,Thetford and its Forest, Swaffham and historic Kings Lynn, Norwich with its great shops and restaurants and many many other things is approximately 1 hours drive away, as is the beautiful Norfolk coast.

The accommodation here is on the ground floor and is completely self contained, with en-suite shower room, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a very comfortanle king size bed.

Northwold has its own pub where evening meals are served most nights of the week, there are many others a short drive away, we also have a Post Office/shop and a lovely Church. The accommodation is non-smoking and we do not accept pets.

The area provides good facilities for golf with courses at Swaffham, Watton, Downhan Market and Kings Lynn, together with many sites of historical interest to visit, brewery's and a distillery, much fishing, and an abundance of wildlife including a seal sanctuary and a large colony of Grey and Common Seals off Blakeney Point, together with the magnificent beaches at Holkham and Brancaster. Towns like Heacham, Hunstanton,Sherringham and Cromer offer the traditional sea side entertainment.

Double Room £40 per night which includes a full English breakfast, for a single occupancy we charge £25 per night which also includes breakfast. We offer a 5% discount for a stay of 3 nights or more.
