The Swan is a privately owned premises providing a safe, traditional
venue for eating and drinking in the centre of Shepton Mallet.
By serving local ales to a high standard The Swan has become the only
premises in the town that is included in the 2009 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. We
serve genuinely homemade food for over 85% of the menu and will tell you if
something is not homemade before you order. We were awarded the Safer
Socialising Award in January 2008 and are proud to be the first pub in
Mendip accredited with this award.
The staff provide a friendly welcome and efficient customer service making
the pub the perfect destination for special occasions, casual lunches or a
pint and a friendly chat. At present meals are served within the bar but a
dedicated dining area is being created. We also provide business breakfasts
and competitive outside catering; please ask for details.
