Enjoying a wonderful location for exploring three renowned areas of outstanding natural beauty. Eden Valley, the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Penrith and the Rheged centre are approximately 10 miles and sailing can be enjoyed on Ullswater (12 miles) . Hadrian's Wall is reached under an hours drive. Appleby with its famous horse fair in June, offers pubs and shops and lies just 2 miles away. The immediate area has much to offer the visitor including fell walking, bird watching, riding, golf, fishing and cycling.
