Further afield are the city of Bath, Weston-Super-Mare, Minehead, and glorious Exmoor National Park, and to the south, Lyme Regis, Lulworth Cove and Weymouth. Montacute, Stourhead and Lytes Cary (all N.T.) are well worth a visit, and pretty Castle Cary (4 miles) offers interesting shops and restaurants. Golf, tennis and riding are found locally.
