A traditional, stone built crofter's cottage, set in the peaceful surrounds of Loch Eil in the small hamlet of Blaich, 14 miles from Corpach and 18 miles from Fort William. Comfortably and tastefully furnished, this lovely, detached property features a traditional sitting room with warming open fire, a light and airy conservatory overlooking the well established garden and lovely views toward Loch Eil and the hills beyond from almost every room. The Snowgoose Mountain Centre at Corpach offers instruction in canoeing, kayaking and sailing whilst the whole of the region affords superb outdoor activities. Fort William provides a number of welcoming shops and pubs, while the small fishing village of Airsaig offers short ferry trips to the beautiful Hebridean Isle of Eigg, home to an amazing variety of orchids and the occasionally spotted otter. Visit the Glenfinnan Monument, or take the ferry from Mallaig to the misty Isle of Skye. A marvellous base for an all year round break.
