The George and Dragon is an old coaching inn in Chester, with a black and white Tudor style facade. We are ideally situated just 5 minuets walk from the city centre and all its historcal attrations. This is a tradtional house with a modern twist to suit all; we offer areas accommodating sports viewing, dining and relaxed lounge seating. Welcoming to a mixture of diners and drinkers alike., the George and Dragon is an ideal place to while away the afternoon sampling our Cask Ales or take advantage of our excellent food offers. Come the evening time, the pub is the perfect place to begin your night out in Chester or enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with friends. Weekly entertainment includes a pub quiz on Sundays and a fun filled karaoke night on Thursdays, with a late bar until midnight. The George and Dragon boasts 14 letting bedrooms which have been recently refurbished to a high standard. All our bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, with a television and digi-box. Every room has its own en-suite bathroom with shower or bath. We also have a luxury feature room,which offers a large sleigh bed with plasma television screen,digi-box and dvd player, ideal for a romantic weekend away. We are welcoming to singles,couples and large groups and strive to accomodate all your needs. The hotel serves full english breakfast beetween 7am and 9am on weekdays and 8am until 10am on weekends. We offer free parking to all our hotel guests and have space for mini-buses.
