Chieveley

Chieveley is a village in Berkshire on the edge of the beautiful Berkshire Downs, enchanting for walkers. ‘The Living Rainforest’ is under glass, where orchids, ginger, banana trees and palms flourish, the birds and butterflies fly free, add monkeys, toucans and a café, what more could be asked for. Perhaps a visit to the 14th Century Donnington Castle which suffered in the Civil War, or maybe the enjoyment of the track beckons, Newbury Race Course hosts many days of racing although if the winner escapes you why not take your golf clubs for a round on the 18 hole course.
