Gained First Class Honours degree from Cambridge before writing for the Jewish Chronicle and the Daily Mirror. Replaced Paula Yates on the television show The Big Breakfast. Best known for presented the ITV daytime television chat show Vanessa and subsequently The Vanessa Show on BBC television.
