for Dragstalgia as your favourite British event.

Every year Santa Pod Raceway takes an unashamed look backwards with its ‘Dragstalgia’ meeting.

As a weekend of everything nostalgia, the Pod gathers some the finest drag racers, Hot Rods and bikes from the era when men were men and Health and Safety people weren’t invented. Mixed with a liberal sprinkling of classic dragsters, Funny Cars, Altereds, Hot Rods and American Muscle, Dragstalgia promises an eclectic mix of metal, accompanied by the finest soundtrack on the planet!

As well as an impressive drag racing line-up there will also be Pre 1980’s only RWYB sessions throughout the weekend, so make sure you bring your licence, ‘race face’ and helmet (if you’re in something really quick) and enjoy running in the tyre tracks of the greats…

A ‘Cacklefest’ on the Saturday evening provides music to the ears of anyone within a few miles of the track, or for those wanting a more peaceful experience, a leisurely walk amongst the Historic racecar displays, traders, club areas or Show and Shine will provide the perfect remedy. The Allard owners club will also be in attendance with their superb cars, along with an extensive display of Historic racers, reminding us all how the sport in its current form truly began.

Fans can expect a real blast from the past with a number of racers returning to the track. The online entry list is live at and is being updated as and when entries come in so be sure to check back regularly to see the latest list of racers. This includes a class for RWYB racers so if you want to get yourself listed please get in touch via the contact form.

And to top it all off? This year, responding to popular demand, The ‘Pod will even be running a full-blown beer festival over the course of the weekend. So, take advantage of the free camping, get yourself a full weekend ticket, lose the car - and park yourself trackside with a pint or three of finest ale while you watch a true glimpse of yesteryear fly past at several hundred miles per hour. Summer doesn’t get much better than that!
