Ruthven is a fine Victorian family house set in attractive gardens and grounds amidst beautiful countryside with stunning views to the Cheviot Hills in the distance. The house is situated some 3 miles North of the historic town of Coldstream, about 8 miles South of the delightful county town of Duns and approximately 14 miles West of Berwick-upon-Tweed with it's Intercity connections to the North and South. Alnwick, which was recently awarded "The most desireable town to live in", is only 30 miles away and well worth a visit.

Ruthven works very well as a base for up to 6 couples wishing to visit the Borders to Fish, play Golf or generally take in the Beautiful Countryside, Historic Houses and the Tranquillity of the area. You will be looked after in great comfort and an excellent 3 or 4 course dinner can be provided each night.

It is also an ideal place for an "Out Of Office" get together for senior executives, having telephone, fax and e-mail facilities, allowing important decisions to be made away from the bustle of the work place.
