I regularly visited Bolton up to the time of the indoor market closure. I loved it and the stalls could not be compared anywhere. After an absence due to illness I visited last month - What a disaster the re-vamp has brought. No more individual stalls, no atmosphere, nothing. I am so disappointed and really don't envisage another visit, I can get the tram to Bury from where I live and they have my patronage from now on. Well done Bolton for spoiling what used to be a nice day out and losing my custom.

westhoughton market is always empty , why dont they do a sunday car boot like the one in horwich which attracts a lot of business.it would also raise some money and make more use of all the empty stalls which are rarely used.
