Cornwall Reports

Looe, Cornwall

Review of Looe by John Holmes on July 4th, 2012
Visited Looe whilst on holiday last week. Found it unattractive, with expensive car parking and lots of buildings that were in obvious need of re-painting and repair, certainly not a pretty, nor a quaint, little village. On a sunny evening, with calm conditions, the pier was closed and chained-off to the public at 7:00pm and I shan't be going there again, nor will I recommend it to anyone wanting a clean and pleasing place to stay, eat or relax. Extremely disappointing.

Review of Looe by ANN HUDD on May 17th, 2006
Looe is a wonderful family friendly town and surrounding area. The Salutation Inn sreves wonderful bar meals with an excellent service. The portbyhan hotel good place to stay with really good evening entertainment.I stay at the trelay farmpark campsite with a touring caravan and also in the static vans .The site is the most cleanest and well kept site I have ever stayed on. Also excellent owners who are always ready to give assistance and are very welcoming and friendly. Looe is an excellent base to stay to visit any part of Cornwall also near to Devon.
