Very friendly family run business. Adam was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. 'Dudes' are the best! The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn (I bought 2 pairs). I need you to set up an online shop please!!

The Old Passage Inn is a beautiful hotel. The three rooms have an amazing view and the restaurant serves outstanding seafood. The staff are extremely friendly. In fact we have just booked a second trip. I would highly recommend The Old Passage in for both it's food and accommodation.

We booked to go to this place on recommendation to celebrate my sisters 70th birthday,3 weeks ago.We booked lunch for 3, a double room and a single room. Had a pleasant disscussion with a gentleman who took the booking and said I would confirm that evening, which I did. Next day I was rung to be told that there were now 3 bed rooms would we like them all. I again confirmed that We would like lunch for 3 and 1 Dbl & 1 Single room for the night. 3 days later a girl rings saying she is not sure about our booking as she cant seem to find the details! again I repeat our booking. 5 minutes later she rings again still not understanding the arrangement, at which stage she is asking if I wanted to cancel our booking! "No I did not want to cancel our booking though at this stage I told her I was loosing my confidence with the whole idea". "oh! so you do want to cancel" "I had not said that." She said you have not paid a deposit, we had never been asked for one.Any way she said she would send confirmation. This arrived the next day, she had added dinner for 3 as well, still no mention of a deposit and how much it would be. 2 days later the owner rings up, asks if I am Mrs Mattingley, and without further ado, tells me she is cancelling our booking as I have been rude to her staff, something she will not tolerate," I dont care about clientel I am far more conerned about my staff and you will not come to the Old Passage.I asked which member of staff I was supposed to have been rude to,"Oh! she said it is writtenin the diary.I said to her it sounds as though you have just had six people asking for accomodation, so you wish to put us off."Absolutely not" she said. She did not intend to listen to my part of this horrible experience and told me she was cancelling the booking. My husband then rang her back to ask what on earth it was all about, Where upon she did have the grace to appologise for going over the top! I would just like people to know how this organization opperates.
