Myself and family had a touring caravan at gateway for 4 years always having the same pitch and enjoying the local attractions and ammenities. Every February was the same we received a letter with the new tarriff on for that year and away we went. The year the new owners took over no letter was received so after calling was told our position after 4 years had been given to someone else with no communication at all even though we had been told they had a list with all the regulars numbers and addresses on to contact people.I was told i could put my name down incase something else MIGHT come up. After driving past the site the year after and seeing all the caravans piled on more like caravan storage(PURE GREED) we realised we had probably had a lucky escape.

Dear Sirs, My wife, daughter and I have been using this site for years, we have camped and now have a caravan. If you take a close look at what's to offer at this site you soon see the attaction. Games room, bar, dance hall, dog walking facilities and everything else you would expect from a certificated site. Bon Fire nights are to be recommended, fantastic, perhaps the the other people who left the negative review should use a hotel, wonder what the cost would be then. We have a small business and recommend this site to loads of friends who have never been disapointed, here's to our nxt visit. H james

My wife and I stayed here for just one night.. which was long enough .. we have a tent.. which was nearly £12 a night .. what for ??? .. a field with no facilities.. no nothing .. one small portakabin toilet block in the next field near the caravans.. showers( err prob 2 or 3 ) about 300 yds away .. washing up facilities 300 yds too..shop with not alot of anything..the field could prob hold about 100 tents .. imagine all of them fighting over 3 toilets in the next field... never again ..........
