not suitable for familys with young children as the only facilitys they provide is a pub and a small pool the childrens entertainment is poor at best an the toilet facilitys are to far away from the tent areas this is not a camp site its a pub with a lot of caravans around it. The food in the pub was poor quality and bland the service was just as poor anyone wishing to go to this establishment needs deep pockets and a healthy appetite for drinking as its the only thing to do

me and my family visited spring willows. On arrival we found a very helpful receptionist and was escorted to our pitch where we stayed in our tent for 3 nights. We found the showers to be very clean and the swimming pool was lovely. Every thing on site made our stay very plesent and since returning home we have recomended spring willows to friends who have already visted/are due to visit. We are returning to spring willows at the beginning on August and are very much looking forward to our stay. We have a young child and found the site to be very accomodating for her.

We returned to this site after a prvious visit because we enjoyed the site last time.Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar busy and cosy, food excellent. The pool although small was a pleasure to use. However I feel that the site is let down with the facilities for tourers. The camping and touring caravan area is right at the top of the hill, and while this in itself is not a problem the distance to the nearest toilet block is. It is quite a trek to the nearest shower/toilet block, both of which are on the lowest level of the site. I was also annoyed to find no hot water for either the wash basins or showers nor any loo roll in any of the loos on Sunday morning. It really needs another shower block higher up the site The camping field was quite rough and uneven with hidden wheel ruts in the grass. I considered that £53 for 2 nights for myself, my wife and 10 year old daughter was a bit excessive considering the facilities. The site seems to be biased towards permanet residency with static caravans and permanent touring vans, the majority of which have their own facilities.I would not stay at this site again unless improvements were made.
