What a superb country pub/restaurant. The decor and ambience are excellent.
My friend and I were overwhelmed by the choice of menus - we chose the three course 'Fish Special' menu.
The staff were attentive, friendly and polite. We started with a choice of Artisan breads - the walnut bread being my favourite. All of the food was of very good quality and plentiful.
The whole experience was an extremely positive one and I would have no hestiation in recommending The Five Bells to family and friends.
Well Done The Five Bells.

it is a very busy pub in the evenings and the phone is answered constantly, may i suggest route finder or sat nav as you seem to have really missed out....the food is lovely as is the service.

Beautiful pub and restaurant, and gardens. Happy to oblige with smaller portions of main meals for children, whilst they do the usual fish fingers and chips etc if you prefer. Good and friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. All in all a very enjoyable experience. Lookig forward to our next visit.

Didn't get there. They don't answer their phone early evening.
