A GROUP OF US WENT ON A CORPORATE EVENING WHERE THE MEAL AND CROWN GREEN BOWLING WAS INCLUDED. IT WAS AN EXCEPTIONALLY ORIGINAL CONCEPT AND THE ATMOSPHERE,FOOD AND SERVICE WERE 100%. I HAVE TO SAY I HAVE BEEN TO MANY GASTRO PUBS AROUND UK AND IT IS ONE OF THE VERY BEST IVE EVER BEEN TO. I ENCOURAGE OTHER COMPANIES TO BOOK THEIR BOWLING EVENING AS THEY HAVE FLOOD LIGHTS AND THE WHOLE EVENING WAS WONDERFUL

We visited on mothering Sunday, the food was of a reasonable standard however it was NOT value for money. The beef was cut so thinly as to have no flavour vegetable portion left alot to be desired.I did not say anything so as not to upset the remainder of the party and so spoil the afternoon.
I doubt if I will return and could not recommend to any of my friends.

Food is prepared to make it as easy as possible for the kitchen - lots of cook it yourself on a hot stone - fish is nice. Soggy chips and probably instant schnitzels smothered in breadcrumbs. A yellow plate - not even a tomato. With a pot of watery gravy and no taste except perhaps Worcester sauce. Lots of mono-sodium glutamate to add flavour to stew-type dishes and give you a raging thirst. It's not cooking, it's assembling one or two ready ingredients. Dreadful and high-priced.
