Quantity of food etc was fine, but by the time veg & potatoes arrived my main course was cold.
No desire to go again.

Beer was great, red house wine sweet, poor quality & over priced. Finished my very incorrectly described main course before any potatoes arrived!
We will NOT go back.

Fantastic food and service. Very reasonable prices. A nice large country pub, with sensible indoor arrangements and a large seated garden area. It is situated on the apex of a mild hill surrouded by fields. This means that on a hot summers day there is a very refreshing breeze outside. :P . I'd give this pub 5 stars.
PS: When I visited I had Chicken breast stuffed with mushroom and sour cream pâté, wrapped in bacon and served on a bed of cherry tomato sauce. IT WAS VERY SCRUMMY INDEED!
