Now under new ownership, the food is really good and resonably priced.
The bar staff were friendly and welcoming, this is a pub i would reccomend.

Shame about the TV in the bar and rather miserable bar staff.
Food not bad but overpriced for a Pub.

We used this pub as a meeting place for my sons wedding as he was getting married at the church in Bentley, prior to the event he contacted the pub to arrange sandwiches enough for 15 people on our arrival, they were unable to give him a price but he went ahead and booked in good faith...mistake!
When we arrived two plates of sandwiches were brought out at an exorbitant price of £50.00 yes £50.00.
An average price of £3.30 per round, with fillings of cheese and tomato, tuna and cucumber, what resembled cream cheese and something, and a couple of undefinable.
How I wished we'd popped into Marks and Spencer bought a selection and eaten them out the back of the car!
So beware, you have been warned!
