I had rung the pub and also visited in advance, as our guests were working Christmas Day, we really wanted a Christmad lunch. A lot of pubs/restaurants said they were only serving sunday lunch this sunday, The Old Barn said they would do the Christmas menu for us. We even went in for a preview, and they said they had us down for a Christmad lunch. Imagine our disappointment whent we took our guests in only to be told it was a sunday lunch menu onlu, no mention of our christmad booking. The food wa excellent but considering the amount of work I had put in to get a Christmas lunch, very disappointing indeed. we coudl have onne somewhere far better for a sunday lunch menu.
