Went there for dinner on Saturday. Food absolutly excellant all homemade and fresh. My wife had the Sausages which were the best she had ever had and I had the twice cooked pigs cheeks massive fan and good to see some old fashioned dishes returning to the menu. I met Ian the chef and leo who was lookig after service.... Nothing is too much trouble.

Went here on 28 Feb 2008 with a party of 6 just 3 weeks after the new owners took over. The pub has a nice ambience and decor. The food was excellent - 3 of us had twice cooked pig cheeks which were fantastic, 2 others had the fish cakes which were also delicious - and it was great value for money. 6 starters, 6 mains, 2 desserts, 1 bottle of wine, 2 glasses of wine, 2 cokes and about 8 pints and we paid £23 per person including a 10% tip. Highly recommend this gastro pub and will definitely be going again.
