GOT TO THE RESTAURANT LATE ABOUT 2-30 BUT THE STAFF FOUND US A TABLE. 4 OF US. PARENTS AND 2 ADULT SONS. MENU WAS LENGTHY AND VARIED. I CHOSE THE BLACKBOARD SPECIAL. ROAST LAMB OR BEEF.SPOILED FOR CHOICE. OK. LAMB FOR ME. WHEN IT ARRIVED CHEF HAD ARRANGED A MIX OF BOTH MEATS. EXCELLENT. PLENTY OF RICH GRAVY. VEGETABLES WERE POTATOES ROASTED AND BOILED. THE OTHERS HAD FRIED FISH CHIPS AND PEAS, POSH FISHCAKES AND A MOROCCAN STYLE BEEF IN A FRUIT SAUCE. VEGETABLES FOR THESE ARRIVED AND I WAS ABLE TO SAMPLE POMMES LYONAISE, COOKED IN MILK/CREAM. ACCOMPANIED BY CRISP CARROTS AND MANGE TOUT. PLENTY OF VEG FOR EVERYONE.
MY WIFE AND I FINISHED OFF WITH COFFEE IN A CAFETIERRE. 2 X CUPS IN EACH AND STRONG. THE BOYS HAD CHEESECAKE AND AN ITALIAN CONCOCTION. IT WAS ALL PILED HIGH. SO ALL IN ALL EXCELLENT FOOD, PLENTY OF IT AND ATTENTIVE STAFF. DONT CHANGE A THING FOLKS. SEE YOU AGAIN SOON.
DAVE AND FAMILY.
HALESOWEN,
WEST MIDS.
