The Middleton a restaurant / no smoking public house in Middleton, North Yorkshire is a little gem which deserves recommendation. I was lucky enough to be taken for a birthday treat. From walking in through the front door, being welcomed with a lovely real fire and then a friendly attentive smile from behind the bar, you immediately feel at home in the cosy surroundings. The menu leaves you spoilt for choice and the actual food itself cannot be beaten. The chef obviously has a passion for the food he prepares - local produce is used as can be seen from the receipt on the bar detailing where / which farms the various meats have come from. The standards are excellent and I feel that because of this, The Middleton should be recognised. Try it, I am sure like us you will return!
