A fabulous lunch at a charming pub with friendly and accomodating owners.
Will be recommending to all my guests at nearby holiday cottages as the BEST local(ish) pub to us.
Outstanding, well done and pob lwc for the season :)

Went here a couple of times when we we were on holiday nearby. Extremely friendly staff and very good food, comparable with good London restaurants. Specials board that must change on a very regular basis as it was different each time we went in.
Most impressive was when I completley messed up my wife's main course order and she wound up with something she hated. They just took it away and gave her another dish free of charge without us even asking. Very impressive service.
Also good play area outside and nice atmosphere in the bar area if you just want a drink.
Highly recommended.

What a great day! We held our wedding reception here at The Crown. The new owners Monique and Rob helped to make our day really special. The gardens are absolutly beautiful full of flowers which were perfect for our photo's. The restaurant itself is lovely and fully of Oldy worrldy character. The room we used was decorated beautifully and even our 3 dogs were welcomed. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the menu choices were great even for us vegetarians!
Would definetly return again.

Lovely oldie worldy pub. Menu changed and I must say is fantastic. Food couldn't have been better if I'd gone to a 5* restaurant everything home made. Well worth a visit. Great childrens play ground and beautifl gardens too. Well worth a visit

Nice atmosphere and run by lovely people. Pity that the kitchen lacks professionalism. Tomatoes still had the green eyes on them, lettuce was obviously unwashed and had soil on it, the plate was chipped and the food smudged on the rim. Caught a glimpse of the kitchen and wished I hadn't eaten there at all. Gordon Ramsey should be called in.
