Quiet restaraunt/pub in historic buildings, also has a couple of rooms. Open for lunch 12-2 and evening meal from about 6 to 10. Very pleasant people running it, and child-friendly with a good kid's menu and a can-do attitude if you've got a fussy eater. Food is very well prepared and presented - seafood especially. Vegetarian selection a bit weak, but if you're a cheese eater the goat's cheese and roast vegetables is excellent. We spent about £14 a head including 2 rounds of drinks and 2 courses.
