We haven't been here for about 6 months.
We had the misfortune of sitting opposite the main doors, where the closure was not working properly, this meant that we, and others, got up several times to shut the door in order to evade the icy blast. My meal of cod in beer batter was very nice but the potatos were boiled to water and insipid. My wife's lasagne was tasty but again the accompying chips were soggy and bland. The Marston's beer was
very tasty so no problem there. We will no doubt visit again in another 6 months or so with no expectations 5/10

Very welcoming atmosphere. Real log fire. Fantasic food!!!!

Always been my favourite place for a meal, and i especially enjoy the weekly quiz, every Wednesday. I'm very close to all the staff, and this review is the least I can do to show my appreciation.
