We were driving through villages in Beds and Bucks on a house hunting day and stumbled across the Carpenters Arms in Stewkley. We found it to be a very warm, welcoming pub with great service and fabulous home cooked food. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They took time in telling us about the local area and we found ourselves in there for a few hours when we only meant to pop in for a quick bite - A country pub at it's best!
