Originally built in the 14th century this establishment has plenty of character, serving Fullers real ales along with a good selection of largers and a cider. A friendly local atmosphere whether you are in the bar or restaurant area you'll always find someone to talk to amongst the local characters. I am told that the excellent Al a Carte menu will be available Fridays/Saturdays with hot food served over the bar Monday-Thursdays and not forgetting the extremely good value Sunday Roasts between 12-4pm (sampled by our party of 4) it's got to be the best Sunday Roast available.
