Superb country hospitality!! Nice pub in a good location for fishing the lakes,Bath,Street,Cheddar,Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol, Weston-super-mare and Clarks Village in Street. Three of us shared a room at £25 p.p (breakfast included!) the others had a double at £60. Breakfast was the best ever, the boys haven't stopped talking about it. Accommodation was clean and well presented. They were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Big enclosed garden, adventure payground, large pool room, big screen, quaint bar and lounge areas, conservatory restaurant. Food absolutely brilliant: somerset chicken breast pan cooked with local cider and stilton cream sauce, pan cooked mussels and a blue fillet steak to die for. Beer served straight from the barrel. Locals real Somerset (zummerset) made us all welcome for the weekend. A great fishing trip for the boys and a good shopping trip for the girls. RECOMMENDED
