My little secret!...I am not going to be mean and have decided to tell everyone. The food was extremely tastey..not an awful lot of it...or was it just the flavours...whatever...it left me wanting more. Prices at lunchtime are reasonable and the atmosphere is wonderful...intimate and not too close to the next table. My experience was very good and I shall be returning to celebrate our daughters 23rd birthday and have organized another get together with work freinds to enjoy yet another dish.

Had a delightful Sunday lunch today at The Chequers Inn. There were 14 adults and 2 toddlers in our party to celebrate a birthday. The service was very good, unlike the weather it rained very heavily. We were seated outside under the very robust awning and kept warm with the patio heaters (brilliant invention). Our food was first class and presented well. Considering the size of our group I had reservations about the food but this couldn't be faulted everything came up hot. My only bad point to make was there wasn't a lot of deserts left so our choice was restricted. All in all a really nice place to eat and I'll be going back.
