My family, and I went to the Six Bells for Sunday lunch, also to celibrate my wife's 65 birthday. The meals were served quickley, were very hot, with the bill being very reasonable for 6 persons including drinks. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. We all appriciated the 'Country Pub' enviroment, all in all it was excellent, and I will have no hesitation in recommending the Six Bells at Boreham to anyone. Well Done!!! Colin Mason

Went to the Six Bells at Boreham today for lunch with my daughter. We selected our food and when it arrived my meal was not what I had ordered. I was informed that the chef had "not read it properly" so whilst my daughter's meal had been served to her, mine was then taken back and had to wait a while for the correct one to be served. Not a good start to our lunch outing! Eventually it arrived both meals were acceptable but very over priced for what it was, service not that great, so would not use it again. We have had much better service and value for money elsewhere.

We do try to give good service, home cooked, reasonably priced food. In a relaxed country pub atmosphere. It has been a proven formula for very many years. Many customers frequent this pub time after time, feeling satisfied they have enjoyed a good lunchtime or evening.

Six Bells was a big disappointment. We were ready to love this place, but upon our arrival we came across one of the outright rudest waitresses i've ever met. she was unhelpful and shockingly mouthy. It was like she was angry we even walked in the door and we are a pair of quite respectable, young professionals. We couldn't wait to get out the door and waited outside for our cab as we were visiting from London. Scary scary scary.
