A music shop is rare to find these days so I was delighed to visit a traditional music shop with a wide variety of products and services for musicians of all types. Mr Edwardes shop specialises in woodwind repair and maintenance (clarinets, sax, flute etc) and when I called he was working on a huge bass-clarinet about 4.5 feet long with a loud, deep, rich sound which he demonstrated to the delight of my children! The shop also offers expert stringed-instrument service, repair, conservation and restoration by Chris Egerton who I understand is a noted specialist in ancient, antique and vintage instruments. I bought some small items and got my dad's old 1970's EKO guitar repaired as well as my daughters clarinet and my sons flute fixed. Amazing to find such great service and facilities.Delighted.
